iConverter Fiber-to-Fiber Media Converters
iConverter media converters are part of the iConverter Multi-Service Platform that includes Network Interface Devices, T1/E1 multiplexers and CWDM multiplexers.
These fiber connectivity modules can be integrated into a variety of chassis configurations to create a flexible and scalable multi-service platform capable of delivering Ethernet, TDM and other services over existing fiber networks.
Select iConverter modules support pluggable optical transceivers. Omnitron SFP, SFP+ and XFP optical transceivers are compact, interchangeable fiber transceivers that enable connectivity to a wide variety of fiber optic cables and wavelengths. Omnitron Coarse Wave Division Multiplexing (CWDM) Optical Transceivers enable Omnitron media converters to function as wavelength transponders and provide connectivity between legacy network equipment and iConverter CWDM Multiplexers.
iConverter Management System
iConverter media converters can be used in managed or unmanaged networks. When managed, the iConverter Management System provides the ability to remotely monitor network performance, configure hardware parameters, provision services, generate statistic reports and perform advanced fault detection.
Omnitron’s NetOutlook® SNMP-based network management software for iConverter equipment enables remote network configuration and trap notification of specified network events to streamline network maintenance and lower operating costs.

FlexPoint Unmanaged Media Converters
The FlexPoint family of media converter modules provides reliable and cost-effective fiber connectivity in Enterprise LANs.
FlexPoint media converters provide copper-to-fiber and fiber-to-fiber conversion. They support a wide variety of network protocols, data rates and interfaces for connecting dissimilar cabling media and network equipment.
The self-contained FlexPoint media converter modules can be used as a desktop or wall-mounted standalone unit, or be rack-mounted using a 5-Module shelf or a 14-Module FlexPoint powered chassis.
miConverter Miniature Media Converters
The miConverter miniature Ethernet media converters provide cost-effective fiber connectivity from the network core to a desktop or a portable laptop. A special USB power adapter cable allows the miConverter to be powered by a USB or USB 2.0 port, eliminating the need for an electrical outlet. miConverters are also available with an external AC power supply.
miConverter media converters support 10/100 and Gigabit Ethernet and feature fixed fiber connectors or Small Form Pluggable (SFP) transceivers.

OmniConverter copper to fiber media converters extend network distances to reach remote PoE devices.
The OmniConverter is a multi-port media converter that provides UTP copper to fiber conversion, and functions as a PoE or PoE+ mini-switch.
OmniConverter media converters power one or two Powered Devices (PDs) using standard UTP cables that carry the Ethernet data. They support 10/100 or 10/100/1000 Ethernet, and feature fixed fiber connectors or SFP transceivers.
